Auto-joint extension bars will effectively reduce a user’s process time and speed up the CMM measurement and manufacturing procedure. These particular extension bars are meant to be placed between the Renishaw probes and the probe head.
One end of the bar has the female part of the Renishaw auto-joint and the other end of the extension bar has the connection mount for the probe (this end of the bar can feature either a male auto-joint, or an M8 thread).
Auto-joint extension bars are suitable for use with the ACR1 and ACR3 probe changing racks. They can be fully multi-wired (all 13 pins connected) or feature just two wires.
AUTOJOINT TO AUTOJOINT EXTENSION BARS
To extend the reach of auto-jointed probes using multi-wired extension bars, the user can use PEM1.
PEM extension bars are designed to be used with all multi-wired probes (TP7M, SP25M, SP600M scanning probes and the OTP6M optical probe). Other touch-trigger probes using an adaptor can be used as well.
AUTOJOINT TO M8 BUSH EXTENSION BARS
PAA2 extension bars can connect M8 thread probes to auto-joint mounted probe heads. Three different PAA extension bars are available: PAA1, a 30 mm steel adaptor and the PAA2 and PAA3, which are both made of aluminum and have an overall effective length of 140 mm and 300 mm.
The PAA range of extension bars allow standard 2-wire touch-trigger probes to be fitted to auto-jointed heads. For example, this can be done with the TP20 to PH10M or MIH.
PHS1 HEAD ADAPTORS
PHS1 head adaptors will convert the PHS1 connector to a connection that is appropriate for other probe sensors.
The HA-M allows multiwire probes to be used with PHS1.
The HA-8 allows the use of Renishaw's M8 extensions, as an alternative to the bespoke PHS1 head extensions.
PHS1 HEAD EXTENSIONS
PHS1 head adaptors work with the integral extension bar and an M8 thread. They are also auto-changeable on ACR2.These extension bars allow the reach of PHS1 to be extended by 330 mm, 500 mm or 750 mm (which represents HE330, HE500, HE750).
PHS1 head extensions can be bought individually or in kits.
